Tianzifang is an arts and crafts enclave in Lane No. 210, Taikang Road in Shanghai City, China. This is a refurbished domestic location in the French Concession area of Shanghai. The statues were created for Xin Tian Di by the renowned Dutch Chinese sculptor Wu Ching-ju. They are her interpretations of the traditional Chinese folklore figures of fortune, prosperity, and longevity. Vaidik / Hindu epical gods like Garuda and Kali are also carved and placed in this arts and crafts museum. This shows epic commonality in the Chinese and the Indian cultures. This may be due to Buddhism emanating from Nepal, which was then a part of the Indian subcontinent.
