In the Ghost City China, heaven, hell, and another world in between with the deities concerned are depicted in this. Chitra Gupta is perusing the life history of the persons who died.

In the Ghost City an old house, with history and ancient culture, is preserved. In those days in China also girls were treated as a burden. A tree is grown in the house as soon as a girl is born. Immediately after her marriage, the tree is cut off. This indicates that the daughter is married. To ask whether the daughter is married people ask whether the tree is cut down. In China, people used to believe the heaven, another world in between like our Trisanku Swarga, and hell. In their epics deities like Indra, Yama, Chitra Gupta, with conventional duties as in our epics, are painted. Other superstitious beliefs in China resemble the blind beliefs in India.
