Wuling Mountain Great Rift Valley in China is at a distance of 40 km from Fuling and 180 km from Chongqing in the Wuling Mountain Range along the Wujiang River. Formed by tectonic movements over 2.5 billion years ago, it spans 29.96 square kilometers, and 10 kilometers long with cliffs, peaks, and crevices. The valley known as the oldest scar on Earth, was shaped by crustal fractures, wind, and water erosion. The highlights are Copper and Iron Wall, limestones, Qingtian Gorge Fissure (long, high cliffs), Sunshine phenomenon, (sunlight refracts through the gorge). The valley hosts 2,000 plant and 200 animal species. Visitors can explore walkway, Tianmen Cave Suspension Bridge, cantilever glass platform, waterfalls, caves, underground rivers, and scenic spots.
