Besides cable cars, 25 very long elevators are provided to and from Tianmen mountain. The engineering technology, used at a height of 1,520 meters, is excellent. 

Tianmen Mountain, 8 kilometers to the south of Zhangjiajie City in Hunan, China, is a stunning natural landmark known for its dramatic cliffs, lush forests with medicinal herbs, plants, trees, hillocks, and cultural significance. Rising 1,519 meters above sea level, it features the iconic Tianmen Cave (Heaven's Gate), a natural arch revered as a sacred site, accessible by a 7.5-mile cable car ride—one of the world’s longest. The mountain has glass skywalks, Coiling Dragon Cliff, thrilling views, over 4,600-feet drops. Its 99 hairpin turns on the road to the cave symbolize the path to heaven in Chinese culture. Key attractions include Tianmen Temple, ancient pathways, and biodiversity-rich forests.
