Alfred Nobel's Museum near Örebro, Sweden, in Karlskoga Municipality, Örebro County, was his final residence and the place of his later experiments. Built in the early 1800s, the manor became Nobel's home in the 1890s. In the laboratory, completed in 1895, he developed innovations. Here in 1895, Nobel drafted his will establishing the Nobel Prizes. The museum, opened in 1978, is managed by the Alfred Nobel Björkborn Foundation. Nobel's inventions, businesses, Prizes, achievements, laboratory, buildings, Bofors Museum, engineering works, library, historical artifacts, and science workshop for kids are the exhibits. The museum shows Nobel's personal life.
