The National Government Service Centre (Swedish: SSC) is a Swedish Government agency under the Ministry of Finance to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of Sweden’s public administration. The SSC provides administrative services, including finance, payroll, HR, and systems management to the 170 government agencies. It offers in-person guidance and support to individuals and businesses on behalf of the Tax Agency, Social Insurance Agency, Public Employment Service, Pensions Agency, and the Migration Agency. These centres assist in filling out forms and applications, applying for ID cards, Identity checks for coordination numbers, Relocation to Sweden General inquiries about ongoing cases. Service centres are located in city centres, suburbs, and rural areas. All support by SSC is free. The SSC also holds responsibilities in the economic security sector for civil preparedness. It collaborates with other agencies to streamline government interactions, particularly for newcomers to Sweden, assisting with registration for social security numbers or coordination numbers.
