NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE

 


With the students of the Bharatpet Municipal High School, Guntur. Remembered Netaji on his birth anniversary on 23rd January 2025.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's father, Janakinath, was a successful lawyer, govt pleader loyal to the British. Netaji was against the British. Fought for independence. He was inspired by Bhagawadgita. Tried to achieve freedom through armed struggle. Established and led the Indian National Army. Joined Germany and Japan against the British during World War II. Netaji preferred the nation to civil service. Left ICS. As Congress' President formed the Planning Commission headed by Nehru. Differed with Gandhi in the goal and method to achieve freedom. Wanted a synthesis between national socialism and communism. So was disliked by Gandhi. Netaji died on 18.8.1945 in an airplane crash.
