Established diplomatic and economic relations between Egypt and Israel. America promised military and economic aid to both. Palestinian issues are not resolved. Sadat and Begin got the Nobel Peace Prize in 1978. Accords were opposed in the Arab world. Egypt was suspended from the Arab League. Sadat was killed in 1981.
